Niels Reyes born in Santa Clara in 1977 has picked up many plaudits and prizes and is often featured as one of Cuba’s very best new generation of Cuban artists. He is most well known for deciphering what lurks behind human faces. His trade mark style of paint streaks defining the contours of the human face makes Niels Reyes' work very recognisable from a distance.
