The Center of the Development of Visual Arts, Havana, Cuba, opens its doors from April 20 to May 21 (2017), to the personal exhibition of Gabriel Sánchez Toledo: "Desarraigo". Artist for whom paintings and canvas are ways of scape, of protests. His large canvases are displayed around different spaces where are combined unique landscapes.
Inaugurated in 1989, CDAV has been a leader space for contemporary Cuban art. Its activities of promotion and research in terms of artistic development have given great importance to the Center both in Cuba and abroad. Exhibitions of artists already established, from others that are known or those who still study in institutions such as the Institute of Art, have found in this space a platform for the exchange. On April 20, as part of the activities scheduled by the CDAV, at 7pm will be inaugurated in the space "Desarraigo", by the artist Gabriel Sánchez Toledo.
