About this tour

The tour, led by one of Cubartours art specialists, will begin with a two-hour guided visit of the country’s most affluent collection, the National Museum of Fine Arts. The collection starts with the establishment of the fine arts under Spanish colonial rule exploring the ostentation styles, coupled with delicate romanticism and the striking Baroque. The collection moves from colonial art to that of the vanguard and finishes with post- Revolutionary Cuban art, the latest works being from the 1990s.

Following an introduction to the foundations of the Cuban art scene, Cubartours Old Masters Art Tour will take participants to the studios and houses of famous living Old Master artists, such as Roberto Fabelo, Pedro Pablo Oliva, Zaida del Río, Nelson Dominguez and Eduardo Roca (Choco). Giving you the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the island’s most historical figures from the art world, Cuba Art Tours will facilitate and ensure that your exploration of Cuban art is accessible and enjoyable.

The Art Tour provides a rare and perfectly curated opportunity to experience the pulsating life of Cuban art and artists, immersing oneself into the surroundings from whence Cuban art was born. Book now to ensure you do not miss out on Cuba’s artistic wealth.

The tour was incredible -the most enjoyable thing I did in Havana. The artists you guys chose were so interesting and it was nice to see the broad spectrum of art in Cuba. I'm so happy I booked this, all the girls were so friendly and knowledgeable.

Jasmine curated one of the most incredible arts experiences we've had. Anyone who is a genuine art lover and interested in connecting with the source of these works should go on a tour. It is truly an elevated experience--5 stars all around!

The tour was insightful and interesting. We had the rare experience to see works of art up close and personal, as well as the chance to discuss those works with the artists themselves. An experience I never would have had if it were not for this tour.
