William J. Pérez lives and works in Havana. He is Member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). This Cuban artist recognized within the Generation of the 90, began his studies in the Elementary School of Plastic Arts "Rolando Escardó" in the province of Cienfuegos. In 1981 he entered the National Academy of Fine Arts "San Alejandro" in Havana, finishing his studies in 1986. Since then he has been a constant career, supported by multiple personal exhibitions and collections in important Havana galleries and in the international circuit . He has participated in several editions of the renowned Havana Biennial and in international eras such as Art Bassel Miami. He is currently at the El Barrio's Art Space PS109.
